The brainchild of Jakub Ciupinski and Cristina Spinei, the group is comprised of musicians and composers who merge technology with New Music. They have recently launched a project with Kickstarter to raise money to record its first album.
They have performed at various venues, such as Gershwin Hotel, Brooklyn Lyceum, and The Cell. Most notably, they are known for performances integrating real time composition using software developed by Ciupinski. Composers create various small bars of music, called Loops, which during the performance is sent to the musician via wireless network of laptops. This collaborative element between composer and performer through the performance allows for spontaneity and ever changing repertoire.
